Advent - PEACE

On the second Sunday of Advent, we lit a candle as a symbol of peace.

Jesus promised the church to give us a supernatural peace that is radically different from what the world promises.  A lasting peace.  A complete peace.  A peace that goes beyond our understanding.  How do we get that kind of peace?

“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Don’t let your heart be troubled or fearful.” John 14:27
