New City Kids:

New City Kids is a safe place of fellowship and teaching for the youngest family members of New City to experience Christ’s love, build a theological foundation and be equipped for a life of faith and service. We strive for students to have a sense of belonging that fosters friendship and ownership of their faith story.

When parents arrive at the church, they are greeted by our kids team. Children and parents are given a security wrist band that matches each kids to their parent. Kids join their parents in the first part of the service as we sing. After the offering, parents escort their kids to their classrooms, for games, crafts, singing and a Bible lesson. After the service ends, parents return to the class to retrieve their kids using the wrist band system.

Our Kids Team Leader:

Megan Beddow leads our kids team. She has a passion for educating children, training our volunteers, and providing a safe and fun environment for our kids. You can ask her questions by emailing:

Our Curriculum:

We are currently using the “Kids Quest Catechism Club” as our curriculum. A Catechism is a simple question and answer way of teaching our kids about God, His character and His plan for salvation through Jesus.

Teaching your kid about Jesus can be challenging. By using the catechism, you're reinforcing what they learn on Sundays without having to do any planning. Just go over the Q&As over dinner! Click her to download.

Our Philosophy:

We strive to include children as much as possible in the life of the church. We involve them in service projects and the worship service, teach them from the Bible, and allow them to participate whenever possible. Safety is a top priority, so all of our volunteers go through a background check and the children are checked-in securely. We are dedicated to providing a fun, comfortable, safe and supervised environment for play and learning.
