The Church is a People FOR Worship

We are all microscoping something. A microscope takes something small and it makes it bigger. Our hearts are wired for worship, and so they microscope things like money, pleasure, freedom, our appearance and status. Our hearts try to make them bigger than they really are, and then we are left unsatisfied.

Jesus calls people to himself, and to find life and satisfaction in him. This is worship. But then the church is called to telescope Jesus. We are called to show how great, grand and beautiful he actually is. The Church is a people FOR worship.
