What is sex for? Many would say it is a natural appetite, like a hunger that needs to be satisfied. Others think it is for self-expression or connection.

Talking about sex, author Jonathan Grant says, "The cruel irony is that contemporary men and women view intimate relationships as essential to their personal identity, but they struggle to commit themselves fully to these same relationships." We see sex as vital to who we are, yet we struggle with the place of these sexual relationships in our lives.
